Damen Yachting has launched their latest Amels 60 from the Amels facility in Vlissingen, Netherlands. This marks the debut of the sixth vessel, hull number 6006, in the Amels Limited Edition design series.

Paul Deurloo, Project Manager for Damen Yachting, stated the launch of 6006 was “an exciting moment to see the yacht coming out of the shed in all her glory.” The hull of the new Amels 60 is a striking electric blue. Deurloo expresses, “The spectacular color of this hull will certainly stand out!”
The naval architecture of the 197ft/60m vessel was overseen by Damen Yachting, with exterior yacht design by naval architect and master yacht designer Espen Øino. The yacht’s owner selected Winch Design to execute the custom yacht interiors. The design is noted by Damen Yachting to be a combination of “experience, elegance, and innovation.”
The 850 GT vessel will host 12 guests and run with 12 crew and a captain. Final outfitting will take place at the Damen Yachting shipyard before the vessel is set to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2024.
