Company History

Since 1948, Offshore Yachts has been creating laminated fiberglass yachts, starting with auxiliary navy boats.

Founded by Richard Hunt, who is still involved in company operations, Offshore Yachts is now run by his sons, making this a true family business. Known for its “deep fore foot” bow, originally penned by their in-house naval architect and continued now by renowned architect Doug Sharp, the company has built over 300 semi-custom motor yachts for its loyal clientele. Its newest build, the Offshore 80, is nearing completion.
